→ THE BRIEF

Valet Technologies:
A two-sided marketplace, built like infrastructure.

An on-demand platform for a new mobility category — Personal Vehicle Safe Ride — built around a two-driver model so a client’s own car goes home when they do. Platform, brand, pricing, and go-to-market, end to end.

→ 01 / THE CHALLENGE

A NEW CATEGORY WITH NO PLAYBOOK.

Valet is not rideshare. It is a safety-first answer to a problem Uber and Lyft structurally cannot solve: how to get home without leaving your own car behind. The two-driver model — a trail driver who follows in a company vehicle and a valet driver who drives the client’s car — has no off-the-shelf software behind it.

Three hard problems had to be solved at once: a novel operating model with no template, a two-sided marketplace where driver supply must lead rider demand in every market, and trust and safety as the entire value proposition.

→ 02 / OUR APPROACH

BUILD THE PRODUCT — AND THE BUSINESS AROUND IT.

Tech House built Valet end to end. Not just the app, but the company around it: the dispatch engine, the pricing model, the brand, the driver-recruitment campaign, the buyer personas, and the legal framework needed to actually launch.

Every decision reinforced the core thesis — the two-driver model is the product.

→ 03 / WHAT WE BUILT

A COMPLETE TWO-SIDED MARKETPLACE.

A dispatch platform that handles the mechanics no existing tool supports: pairing two drivers per trip, negotiating and approving the revenue split before departure, tracking both drivers in real time, and clearing trip state cleanly on completion.

A rider experience with multi-step booking, saved addresses and payment methods, live tracking, receipts, and privacy protection. A driver experience with trip acceptance, partner pairing, earnings tracking, and pre-trip split negotiation. An admin console for approvals, oversight, geofencing, and surge configuration.

A dynamic fare engine — base, per-mile, per-minute, booking fee, minimum fare — with surge pricing scheduled around nightlife and event windows, processed securely through Stripe. The whole system wrapped in a dark-mode-first brand built to feel like high-end mobile banking meets premium ride service.
